Berliner Volksbank opens new location in Berlin's Schloßstraße

CITYJUNG REAL ESTATE has once again acted as agent for the Berliner Volksbank. After renting space in Friedrichstrasse, the company was now looking for a new location in Schloßstrasse, one of Berlin's most popular shopping streets. The bank will soon open its doors at Schloßstrasse 102 in an area of approx. 310 sqm. 

The property was previously occupied by two smaller retail units. In the course of the new letting, CITYJUNG was able to convince the owner (a community of heirs) to merge the spaces and convert them into a retail space suitable for the Berliner Volksbank. 

The Berliner Volksbank now has more than 170 branches in Berlin and Brandenburg.

Telekom with a new flagship store in the city of Dresden

Last week Deutsche Telekom AG celebrated the grand opening of their new flagship store on the “Prager Straße”. The telecommunication company operates in a store that covers approx. 290 sqm, which is located in an excellent position within the pedestrian zone.

The retail store, formerly used by Wöhrl, has been completely restructured and re-leased by the owner.

CITYJUNG REAL ESTATE was exclusively commissioned by the owner for the re-leasing.

New flagship store for Aesop in Munich

CITYJUNG REAL ESTATE acquired the former Kennel & Schmenger store as part of an off-market deal especially for Aesop. The upmarket Australian natural cosmetic brand, which recently has been incorporated into the L’Oréal Group, will start trading on the approx. 100 sqm unit this year already.

We are very happy to have been able to secure this fantastic new location in the best part of Sendlinger Strasse for Aesop.

AESOP comes to Kurfürstendamm

The Australian natural cosmetics label secures the space at Kurfürstendamm 17, which was previously used by Swatch for many years.

Almost a year ago CITYJUNG arranged the new location on Tauentzienstrasse in Berlin for the Swiss watch company.

For Aesop, the approx. 86 m² retail space is now the 4th store in Berlin.

Historic Office building sold in the heart of Frankfurt at Eschenheimer Tor

CITYJUNG has sold this fully commercial office building as part of a sole mandate by an international institutional investor.

The buyer is a private investor.

The property is situated in the heart of Frankfurt at Eschenheimer Tor within close proximity to the prominent shopping street “Zeil”.

The building which has now been sold individually, has originally been part of a bigger property portfolio.

This six storey corner location, which dates back to 1890 comprises of a very charming Art Nouveau facade and approx. 1,500 sqm of floor space which is leased to offices on the top floors and two restaurant chains on the ground floor.

Axel Arigato with 1st flagship-store in Berlin

Axel Arigato secures an approx. 300 sqm flagship-store in an absolutely prime location of Berlin´s Hackescher Market. The Swedish retailer further enhances it´s retail store expansion in Germany with the takeover of a former restaurant unit in a prime corner location at Hackescher Market. Axel Arigato already opened its 1st store in Munich last year.

CITYJUNG successfully acquired this fantastic location off-market on behalf of Axel Arigato.

As the unit comprises of facades into two shopping streets (Neue Schönhauser Straße and Weinmeisterstraße) customers receive a panoramic view into the store which gives the impression of a contemporary art gallery.

Zeit fuer Brot - 1st store in Potsdam

The boutique bakery concept secured themselves a AAA corner location on Potsdam`s prime shopping street “Brandenburger Strasse”. This approx. 200 sqm unit has been formerly used by Starbucks.

Zeit fuer Brot further enhances the attractivity of Potsdam`s high street “Brandenburger Strasse” along with the recent lettings to Ikea kitchen studio and Bolia. The store is scheduled to open by the end of 2022.

Foot Locker with new store on Tauentzienstrasse, Berlin

The sports retailer Foot Locker has taken over a new retail store at Tauentzienstrasse 17. The unit was previously occupied by Mango. CITYJUNG Real Estate has leased this approximately 680 sqm unit to Foot Locker as a part of an exclusive lettings mandate on behalf of the landlord. The store is already open for business.

Ace & Tate opens 2nd store in Frankfurt

The Dutch eyewear brand secured another space in Frankfurt, Schweizer Straße 34-36. Ace & Tate has leased the approx. 160 sqm unit formerly used by tea specialist Eilles. The store opened in June this year.

CITYJUNG acquired this shop specifically for Ace & Tate and negotiated this deal on behalf of the tenant.

New Swatch Store on Berlin`s Tauentzienstrasse

The swiss based Swatch Group has relocated their previous store on Kurfuerstendamm to their new location on Tauentzienstrasse. The new store comprises of approx. 123 sqm sales area.

CITYJUNG REAL ESTATE has leased this unit to Swatch on behalf of the landlord in form of an exclusive lettings mandate.

Rocycle opens 2 further locations in Berlin

After the opening of the 1st studio in spring 2021 in Berlin-Mitte, the Dutch indoor cycling provider is opening two more locations in Berlin this year. On Kurfürstendamm and in the trendy district of Friedrichshain on Warschauer Straße. Both areas have a total of about 700 sqm each.

Austrian real estate fund acquires Mixed-Use property in Dresden

CITYJUNG REAL ESTATE sold the fully leased Mixed-Use commercial building in Dresden's trendy district “Äußere Neustadt" to an austrian Institutional investor.

The seller is a private investor. The building comprises of a total area of approx. 3,200 sqm. The main tenants are Netto and a kindergarten. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

BIMBA Y LOLA soon at Hackescher Markt in Berlin

The Spanish affordable luxury brand BIMBA Y LOLA will soon enrich Neue Schoenhauser Strasse at Berlin´s Hackescher Markt.

CITYJUNG REAL ESTATE successfully placed the retailer into the formerly by IKKS used unit of approx. 150 sqm.

Montblanc-House in Hamburg`s trendy “Schanze” district sold

CITYJUNG REAL ESTATE who previously sold the building in early 2019 to investment manager Meyer Bergman, brokers the sale to Values Real Estate. This prestigious art deco office building is the largest, most prominent fully commercial property in the heart of Schulterblatt, the main shopping street.

This six-storey building comprises approx. 7 400 sqm of floorspace. Retail chains such as the H&M concept Weekday, Vodafone, the interior chain Granit and some restaurants are located on the ground floor. The upper floors are all leased as office space.

Values Real Estate acquired this mixed-use property with approx. 80 meters frontage to the AAA footfall part of Schulterblatt for their fund “Values Prime Loactions”.

Humana Second Hand opening soon on AAA Friedrichstraße, Berlin

CITYJUNG brings Humana Secondhand to AAA Friedrichstraße. This retailer has rented the approx. 550 sqm unit formerly used by Hammer Schuh and will open their store this year already.

Berliner Volksbank secures a new location on Friedrichstrasse, Berlin

In autumn this year, Berliner Volksbank will move into their new store on Friedrichstrasse 94. The previous tenant of the approx. 220 sqm space was Gina Tricot.

Since early this year CITYJUNG REAL ESTATE has been extensively searching for a new location for Berliner Volksbank and is pleased to have secured this AAA unit on Berlin`s Friedrichstrasse.

The Berliner Volksbank eG was founded in 1946. With more than 205,000 members and total assets of 14.7 billion euros in 2019, it is the largest regional cooperative bank in Germany. Core of its business model is the customer proximity, holistic cooperative consulting and a regional focus. In accordance with its cooperative development mandate, it sees itself in particular as a partner to small and medium-sized commercial enterprises in the Berlin and Brandenburg region.

Ace & Tate soon to open in Regensburg

Ace & Tate was able to secure an area in Regensburg at Neupfarrplatz 2, thus increasing the attractiveness of Regensburg's retail trade. Ace & Tate will take over the space in March.

Prime Office Building on Mannheim`s AAA highstreet (Planken) sold

The very prominent office building which is situated on Planken/ Friedrichsring/ Fressgasse Mannheim`s prime city center location was sold on a sole mandate from an international investor. The eight storey corner building with approx. 11 000 sqm floorspace marks the entrance to the highstreet “Planken”. The majority of the rental space is leased to Deutsche Bank. The building was sold to a german institutional investment funds in a structured process.

Former Power Transformer Substation in Berlin Neukoelln sold as an Office Development

CITYJUNG REAL ESTATE successfully sold the former Power Transformation Substation in Berlin`s trendy Neukoelln district on Richardstrasse to an international institutional investor.

This unique landmark building, dating back to the 20`s will be redeveloped for office use. Furthermore on the same plot, a new build office development of approximately 2,600 sqm will additionally increase this projects attractivity.

Building was sold by a private vendor.

 

 

Ace & Tate soon to open in Mannheim

CITYJUNG has once again secured a new retail store for Ace & Tate, this time in Mannheim. Ace & Tate will already open their approx. 90 sqm unit in this prime corner location in the first quarter of next year. Previously the store was operated by Rituals who have already relocated their store to Planken.

CITYJUNG acquired this shop for Ace & Tate specifically, and negotiated this deal on behalf of the tenant with the landlord.

Prior to this, CITYJUNG Immobilien Berlin has sold this building to D&R Invest as its new owner. We are happy to place a successful chain store like Kauf Dich Glücklich in this trendy upcoming area.

CITYJUNG brokers retail area in Timmendorfer Strand to Label Kitchen

Following their stores in Bielefeld, Hamburg, and on Sylt, the premium clothing company Label Kitchen will open another branch store with approx. 80 m² in a prime location in the holiday resort Timmendorfer Strand. The opening is scheduled for spring 2019.

CITYJUNG sold the portfolio, comprising of 4 assets, and located in Hamburg's trendy "Schanze" district to an international real estate fund by sole instruction of a Dutch family office. In total, the mixed-use properties comprise approx. 2,538 m² of retail space, approx. 5,416 m² of office space, and approx. 1,457 m² of residential space.

 

CITYJUNG sells the Eickhaus Building in Essen

The renowned Eickhaus Building in Essen, Kettwiger Strasse 1, which has been let to Anson´s for many years and marks the entrance to the Kettwiger Strasse pedestrian zone, was sold to DWI Group Hamburg.
The seller is a Dutch family office. The listed property with a floor area of approx. 6,500 m², which is located opposite Essen's main railway station, is being redeveloped to provide high-quality office and retail spaces. CITYJUNG sold the building as part of an exclusive mandate.

CITYJUNG brings Ace & Tate to Heidelberg. Ace & Tate has rented an approx. 100 m² unit in Heidelberg at Hauptstrasse 78 and moved into the premises at the end of 2018.

CITYJUNG acted as sole agent for a Dutch family office on the sale of this AAA high street asset in Aachen. The property is located on the absolut best part of high street Adalbertstrasse, directly opposite the new built shopping center "Aquis Plaza".

The building, built in 2008, was sold to an institutional investor. It contains approx. 5,000 m² of floor space and is primarily leased to the retail tennants New Yorker and Goertz.

The Hans im Glück burger chain opens its first branch in Kiel. CITYJUNG brokered the pavilion previously used by Starbucks. The opening of the restaurant with a floor area of approx. 235 m² is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019.

In this highstreet property currently under construction on Schlossstrasse, the prime shopping street in the southwest of Berlin, Woolworth has rented a sales area of approx. 1,000 m² on two levels. The store is expected to open in autumn 2019.
